Associated Veterinary Specialists (AVS) St. Louis Cat Clinic has a long relationship with one of the specialist practices, Associated Veterinary Specialists (AVS) at 12462G Natural Bridge Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044. Dr. Freesh takes her own cats and dogs to AVS when she needs a specialist and has total confidence in the veterinary specialists there. Dylan and T-Rex were patients at AVS. We prefer to refer to AVS for specialist care for surgery, cardiology, medical care, dental specialist care, oncology (cancer), radioactive iodine treatment for hyperthyroid cats, endoscopy, laproscopic surgery, MRI, CT, flouroscopy, ultrasound, and physical therapy. Veterinary Specialty Services

Veterinary Specialty Services (VSS) at 1021 Howard George Dr, Manchester, MO 63021 is another specialist hospital with it’s own internal emergency clinic. That practice has many specialists also. Animal Emergency Center

Animal Emergency Center is located at 2005 Mall Street, Collinsville, IL 62234. The phone number there is (618) 346-1843. This emergency facility saved the life of our clinic cat, T-Rex. This is a privately owned emergency center.

It is important to us that our clients have access to advice from our doctors and all of the choices for continued care of their cat when the patient must visit an emergency facility.

As a St. Louis Cat Clinic client, if you want our input, ask the emergency veterinarians to call us. If Dr. Freesh cannot be reached, ask them to try and contact the other veterinarians. We will try to talk to you anytime you would like our help with decisions and referral back to St. Louis Cat Clinic or a referral to a specialist when one is needed. You have the right to ask for all of the options before you make a decision.
